‘Why we need to imagine different futures? ’ When I first read this title, i was very curious about it. I believe that everyone have different fantasies about future.

In this video, Anab Jain brings the future to life, creating experiences where people can touch, seeing and feeling the potential of the world we are creating. She is constantly looking out foe weak signals those murmurs of future potential . When I was watching the video, I thought about what might it feel like to live in this future? What might we see, hear and even breathe? Fortunately, Anab Jain did such experiments to allow people to feel the future. Make the air maybe thirty years later in the future, let people pay more attention to the issues of environment. Full of the drones, facial recognition systems will be around our society.
They can do something that human cannot do. Like the drones, they can search people easily wherever they are. In addition ,they can see something we cannot see as well. The production of the drones, helping the police to complete their job successfully and maintain the peaceful society too. As well as , the facial recognition systems are everywhere in our phones, even in our thermostats and in cameras around our cities keeping a record of everything we do, whether it is an advertisement we glanced at or a protest we attended. These thing are here and we often don’t understand how they work, and what their consequences could be. And we see this all around us. This difficulty in even imaging how the consequences of our actions today will affect our future. According hers experiment result, we learned a lot. Not just about how these machines work, but what it would feel like to live with them.
In my opinion, the future both needed to and could actually be planned. Like you want to have a quick drink, then you decide you would not mind a few more . You know you will wake up in the morning feeling awful, but you justify it by saying, “The other me in the future will deal with that.” But as we find out in the morning, the future “you” is you. The future has never been a foreign land, it is unfolding right in front of us, continually being shaped by our actions today. So it is necessary to image of the future, maybe we can have an idea or a chance to change direction, a chance to have our voices heard , a chance to write ourselves into a future we want!
